As part of their environmental improvement works, QALin Gladstone were replacing their existing shiploader. This shiploaderwas designed and constructed by an overseas-basedengineering company.
Our Role:
Engenuity provided a technical and compliance review on the electrical and instrumentation components of the overseas machine in partnership with ASPEC (who provided mechanical/structural input).
Key Outcomes:
Engenuity not only assisted with ensuring the machine was compliant to Australian Standards, but then evolved into working as electrical project engineers on behalf of QAL, taking the lead in ensuring compliance, suitable documentation delivery and on-site inspections in both the UAE & Australia.
The shiploader was successfully commissioned at the end of 2023 and is currently operational.
