Context:	The Egyptian Black Sand Company (EBSC) required the detailed design of a mineral sands processing plant for their new mine on Lake Burullus. Mineral Technologies (MT) were engaged to provide process & mechanical engineering services and Engenuity were to provide the electrical, instrumentation, and control (EIC) design.
Our Role:	Engenuity provided high voltage, low voltage, instrumentation and control system design for both the wet and dry mineral sands processing plants. This was completed in partnership with Mineral Technologies (who provided process / mechanical / structural input) and involved the full development of detailed design documentation to IEC and local standards, and associated equipment tender reviews and recommendations.
The Outcome:	Engenuity and Mineral Technologies worked seamlessly together as one team to deliver the project, drawing on a wealth of experience from working together on many past projects. The El Burullus mineral processing plant was delivered in 2022 and is currently fully operational.
