The upgrades include installation of backup generation and a new lift motor to VRTP’s Green Lantern amusement ride to allow passengers to disembark in the event of a power outage. The changes necessitated an electrical verification of the design against the Australian Safety of Machinery – Electrical Equipment standard (AS/NZS 4024.1204).
Our Role:

Engenuity completed a technical review of the Manufacturer information to assess compliance and compile an electrical verification report. The review included analysis of the power system, engineering calculations, and inspection of the installation by a RPEQ engineer.
Key Outcomes:
The services providedby Engenuity allowed VRTP to verify the ride’s safety and ensure compliance, resulting in successful ride registration. Where required,Engenuity provided RPEQ design solutions to meet regulatory standards.
